Here’s a sage bit of advice. Never wait for a man to call you, or call you back. Get on with what makes your life exciting. Throw yourself into your career, raise a dog for the blind, give blood, bike across Europe. Don’t sit like a taxi with your meter running waiting for a man to call you. Do I have to make you sign a blood oath? Every minute you sit at home waiting for Mr. Indifferent to call you loses you the opportunity at finding a man that is totally into you and will make you feel like the amazing woman that you are.Internet.:)

Since he works at a refinery, therefore, he’s based 35 miles away from me.
But today I got the biggest surprise ever. He asked me to meet up with his ‘friend’ only to find him waiting for me with roses on his hand.
He took a day off from work to check up on his dad here in the city and decided to wait for me.
The fact that he waited for me there, his bus ride is three hours, and he has to report to work at 6 tomorrow morning makes me feel like I’m a princess.
He sacrificed his time to sleep and rest only to be with me for 60 minutes.
Thank you Honey.:)

“It was one of those moments I couldn’t just let it pass me by.
We attended the christening of his nephew, afterwards, we watched the Lucky One at Megamall. I was so excited since it’s the second movie we’ll watch together.
I was wearing my peasant skirt, a white 2-inch below the knee skirt, and a white blouse. He’s wearing a red polo shirt. And to my surprise, when he arrived to pick me up, he was wearing fake glasses - or whatever. At that time, I’m feeling so haggard early in the morning so I decided not to wear my glasses that sunny day.
After fixing myself, I decided to wear it. We were like two nerds. Two lovey dovey nerds. To my surprise, his eye wear looks good on him. And obviously, that day, like any other days, he made me smile like I’m a model for a toothpaste commercial.
That night was also the night he’s going back to his work place.
I hated and I liked what I felt that night since he made me feel what the words “I miss you” really mean. He’s still with me as I walked him to the corner of the street. He held my hand so tight that moment. And as we stopped to bid good bye to each other, I can’t help but feel that he doesn’t want to let me go just yet. So as I, if possible, I want him to stay with me and be with me, but that would be too much to ask.
We took steps to widen the distance between us.
Agonizing steps that even if they were so few, I feel as if I could die.
And as I watched his back turned to me, I stood there.
It took me five seconds. Five seconds before I realized I want to hold him closer to me. I want to snatch a mere few seconds just to hold him close, enough for me to kiss him and hear his heart beat.
And with that, I ran to him, snatched his arm, kissed him, locked him in a tight embrace, placed my head on his chest, close enough that I could hear his beat, and cried.
‘Twas the first time I did that, and I won’t hesitate to do it all over again.”
